Snaarp Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

Snaarp respects the rights of others and expects the same from our users. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines acceptable and unacceptable uses of our Services. By using Snaarp’s Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. If we believe that you are violating this Policy, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, as outlined herein and in our Terms of Service.

2. Access to the Services

To use our Services, you may be required to register and create an account. By registering, you agree to:

    • -Is obscene, defamatory, libellous, or unlawful.
    • -Promotes racism, violence, or hate.
    • -Violates any applicable law or regulation.
    • -Contains hate speech based on race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics.
    • -Facilitates illegal activities, including but not limited to the sale of drugs, tobacco products, or gambling.
  • -Use the Services in a way that:
    • -Avoids payment of fees, consumes unreasonable storage, or otherwise abuses the usage limitations of your plan.
    • -Accesses, changes, or deletes data without appropriate authorisation.
    • -Uses unauthorised methods to modify, access, or reroute our Services.
    • -Damages, disables or impairs the Services or associated networks
    • -Engages in activities that directly or indirectly offer services that compete with Snaarp.
    • -Tests the vulnerability of any system or network without authorisation.
    • -Stores or transmits viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
    • -Transmits unsolicited messages, spam, or phishing emails.

4. Restrictions on Use

You are prohibited from:

  • -Selling, reselling, or leasing the Services or associated software.
  • -Removing or altering Snaarp trademarks, copyright notices, or other intellectual property marks.
  • -Reverse engineering, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of any part of our Services, except as permitted by law or with written consent from Snaarp.

5. Overuse of Services

If your use of the Services exceeds your storage quota, Snaarp will notify you. You will have 15 days to rectify the overuse by either upgrading your plan or deleting files. If the overuse is not remedied within this timeframe, Snaarp may suspend or terminate your account or delete some or all of your files.

6. Password and Security

  • -Snaarp does not have access to your password and cannot recover it if lost. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password.
  • -If you lose your password, your encrypted content may be irrevocably lost, as Snaarp cannot decrypt it without your credentials.
  • -You must not authorise third parties to use your credentials, and you are responsible for any actions that occur under your account.

7. No Monitoring Obligation

As an encrypted cloud service provider, Snaarp has no knowledge of the content you store, share, or upload through our Services. However, Snaarp reserves the right to detect suspicious or fraudulent activity and identify violations of our Terms of Service or this Policy.

8. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter content that violates this Policy, you may report it by sending an email to [email protected] . Reports should include:

9. Copyright Infringement

Snaarp respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content hosted on our Services infringes your copyright, you may send a written notice to our copyright agent:

Your notice must include:

  • -Identification of the copyrighted work being infringed.
  • -Identification of the content and its location, including URL.
  • -A statement that:
    • -You have a good faith belief that the use of the content is unauthorised.
    • -The information in the notice is accurate.
    • -You are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

10. Procedure and Remedies for Violations

Upon receiving a complaint, Snaarp will assess whether the report is complete and valid. If the content is found to be illegal or in violation of our policies, Snaarp may:

  • -Revoke access to the content.
  • -A description of the content and why it is deemed Suspend or terminate the relevant account.
  • -Notify the user involved.

Affected users may appeal our decision within eight days of receiving notification. Snaarp will then reassess the complaint and make a final determination.

11. Amendments to This Policy

Snaarp reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the effective date on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
